The OutThink solution is built upon the Microsoft Azure platform, and is delivered to customers across the globe. It is a multi-tenant, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering, delivered using a combination of Content Delivery Networks, Gateways and API Servers, providing efficient and secure access to the underlying platform and customer data.
The location of stored data is vitally important, and OutThink currently offers several data residency locations, as follows:

No matter where your data resides, the OutThink training experience is accelerated around the globe to provide a high-speed, seamless delivery of assets and training material across most territories. This is achieved by employing a number of content delivery networks (from Microsoft, Akamai and Verizon). These work together to provide 105 Point-of-Presence (POPs) locations around the world.
The technology employed will detect the capabilities and available bandwidth of each individual end-user’s connection, to ensure a reliable and seamless experience. For example, users on low bandwidth connections will be automatically served content at lower bit-rates and a lower video quality than those with high speed internet available to them.
Service availability in politically sensitive regions
At any time, some regions may experience difficulty in being served due to embargos or other political sensitivies or ongoing conflict. It is important for OutThink to understand the location of all our customer’s end-users and to inform customers where service availability may be impacted. Note that our platform relies on a few key infrastructure and service partners, including Microsoft Azure, which may have restrictions of access in particular regions.
At the time of writing, if your users reside in any of the following regions, please reach out for the latest update. This includes (but may not be limited to): Russia, Iran, Sudan, North Korea, Syria and Cuba.

OutThink can serve your end-users within China, however some additional consideration needs to be made, and it should be noted that additional fees may apply. For any requirements to serve employees within China, please contact your OutThink representative.
